We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in user interface and user experience design while working on real-world web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in UI/UX Design, Multimedia, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles, usability, and user-centered design.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and responsive design.
- Understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is an added advantage.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio showcasing academic or personal UI/UX design projects is highly preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to improve user experience.
- Support usability testing and document findings.
- Design visually appealing interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Revise designs based on stakeholder and user feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- Assist in preparing design assets and documentation for development.
